How do I borrow a book? Akron Campus Medical Library

Any Summa Health employee may borrow from the Akron Campus library, after they register with the library.  The Library is located at 55 Arch Street (South Pavilion), Suite G3 | Library staffed hours: 8 A.M. - 4:30 P.M., M-F

How to Register with the Library: 

Registration form is available at: http://medlib.summahealth.org/ld.php?content_id=34508733. Fill out this form, and the library will send you your library access credentials.

There are several ways to reserve and check out books from the Medical Library:

1. You may call us (330-375-3260) or email us (amedlib@summahealth.org).
2. Request the book via our catalog by clicking on the link in each book's title.
3. Visit our library and check out the book! See a librarian for help. If we aren't here, please follow the instructions on the "New Books" shelf near the front door of the library.

There are also multiple ways to receive your reserved/requested books:

1. Pick up the book at the library. Reserved books are located in the filing cabinet outside of Wendy's office. They are already checked out.
2. Reach out to amedlib@summahealth.org to request that we send your book through interoffice mail. Some locations cannot receive mail, and some titles are ineligible for interoffice mail delivery.
