  • The Summa library subscribes to a journal called  Population Health Management, which has recently published a special issue on health disparities.  The list of articles speak to a variety of populations, including:  those with mental health disorders, people with disabilities, rural women, people living in urban neighborhoods, Latinx individuals, and other racial/ethnic and socioeconomic groups.: There is also an article on disparities in the utilization of telehealth services.  See the table of contents of the April issue by following this link: Population Health Management, April 2022  (click here)See also the link in the box below.   • The journal titled, Health Affairs, has published a special issue in February on racism and health. In his introduction, Alan R. Weil, Editor-in Chief states that racism is the reason for the "large, sustained health inequities in the US."  This issue contains four broader articles that offer understanding on how health is impacted by racism. The other articles provide more specific evidence, as well as analysis.
